Background
In the village, people raise a lot of ducks so there are a lot of duck eggs. The group adds value to the duck eggs by making salted eggs.
Manufacturing Procedures
Wash duck eggs. Mix white clay, salt and pandanus leaf boiled water. Then, apply the mixture all over the duck eggs. Then, mix them with cinders and husk. Leave them in bags or covered pail for 10 days. Then, boil the eggs.
Product Strengths
The group’s salted eggs have very red and greasy yolk and do not taste too salty. The white egg is soft without stench.
