In the past, Thailand and countries in Asia used eggs as offering in religious ceremonies. Eggs have some significance in Christianity, used in the Easter.
In 1999, Painted Eggshell Group led by Khun Phusit and Khun Naruephorn, noticed that eggs are related to religious belief so it applied traditional Thai art in painting eggshell.
Manufacturing procedures
1. Riddle an egg with electrical drill. Paint eggshell. Cut eggshell with special equipment.
2. Attach a hinge to the cut eggshell with Epoxy glue. Apply acrylic color on the eggshell.
3. Heat the eggshell with spotlights to make the eggshell colorful and durable.
