The group was set up in 2000. The head of the group was trained on using natural dye at Chiang Mai University. The group began producing hand-woven cloth with natural dye which gained good response from customers. The group members, later, were trained on using natural dyes. Since then, the group has begun weaving natural dye cloth. Many patterns are available for customers to choose from.
