In the past, immigrants from Laos to Tham Tao brought with them the indigo dyeing technique. The knowledge was passed down from generations to generations. The group was set up in 1998 with financial support from the Tambon Administration Organization, Samakkhi Phatthana. The group produces hand-woven cotton cloth with indigo dye as this kind of cloth gains popularity from customers. The group’s indigo-dyed cloth was selected as OTOP product.
