Chili is widely grown in Loei. Most residents sell fresh chili and dried chili, which are sold for low prices. Ban Khon Daeng Women’s Development Group is processing chili for community consumption and sale. The group was for since 1999.
Manufacturing procedures
Roast dried chili, onion, garlic, salt and lemon grass. Grind all the ingredients. Add fish sauce, sugar and tamarind paste. Then, roast until the chili paste is dry.
