In the past, Thai craftsmen would design patterns and sent them to China in order that Chinese craftsmen would make chinaware with the designed patterns. Polychrome chinaware was used by Thai royal members and there was no distribution to the public. Later, the furnace was built in Thailand. Thai craftsmen began producing chinaware themselves.
Manufacturing procedures
Shape clay as wanted. Sun dry it. Bake for 6 hours. Coat it before baking again. Then, paint the chinaware with gold on rim.
