The manufacturer produces dried durian with high technology invented by NASA. It is called the vacuum freeze drying system. Only 1 or 2 manufacturers in Thailand use this technology. Montong CG dried durian is the first in Chanthaburi and eastern part of Thailand that use this NASA-invented technology.
Manufacturing procedures
Remove seeds from durian flesh. Freeze durian flesh and slice them. Then, make it dry by the vacuum freeze drying system. Put dried durian in aluminum foil cans.
Product strengths
The nutrients are similar to fresh durian. Dried durian can be eaten as snack or be processed further. It can be returned to fresh durian after rehydration. It is light and suitable for transport.
