The group was set up on December 19, 1986. Due to excess supply of nutmegs, their prices went low. The group has come up with processing nutmeg to add value to the nutmeg produce. Therefore, the group produces a variety of nutmeg products which meet the needs of the customers and create income for nutmeg growers.
Manufacturing procedures
Peel the nutmegs and slice them. Wash nutmeg slices and mix them with sugar. Sun dry them for 5-7 hours.
Product strengths
A local plant, nutmeg has medicinal properties in relieving colic.
