Residents in Sa Yai Som community grow rice and fruits. After the harvest season, they had free time. So the community members formed Sa Yai Som Women’s Agriculture Group, which have been receiving funds from many government agencies. The group processes bananas to be dried banana rolls adapted from traditional Thai dried bananas.
Manufacturing procedures
Ingredients: Nam Wa bananas, 20 liters of water, 2 tablespoons of salt
1. Peel bananas and soak them in salted water.
2. Cut bananas by halves.
3. Make them flat on a plastic board.
4. Dry them in an oven.5. Soak bananas again.
