The villagers in Ban Tha Ruea have passed down the art of silk weaving from generations to generations. In 1973 Her Majesty the Queen asked Lady Supraphada Kasemsan Na Ayutthaya to establish an Arts and Crafts Center at Nawa. Since then, the villagers in Na Wa earned their living by weaving silk cloth.
